The university was found in 2000,it is the only undergraduate college in Northeastern Yunnan and was authorized by the State Education Committee in March of the same year.It is located in the downtown area of Qujing city, 140km away from the Spring City-Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province. It enjoys beautiful scenery and comfortable weather.
