To commemorate the anniversary of September 11 and the tremendous efforts our military has made to protect our freedoms since that horrific day, Ziegler, a specialty investment bank and investment firm, has announced it will make a significant donation to help build Wisconsin?s first Fisher House. Fisher House, an organization that is a ?home away from home? for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers, will use Ziegler?s donation to help construct this facility on the campus of Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The facility will provide temporary lodging for family and loved ones of veterans being treated at the VA hospital.The donation will be presented by Ziegler financial advisor and retired United States Army Command Sergeant Major, Dennis Ansay, CFP?, to Dan Buttery, President of the Board of Directors for Fisher House Wisconsin. The presentation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on the Fitch Plaza at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center. To honor not only those who lost their lives on 9/11, but those who have served our country since that day, the ceremony will be held by the piece of steel girder from the World Trade Center. Presenting the check on behalf of Ziegler will be Ansay, who currently serves as a financial advisor in Ziegler?s Mequon, Wisconsin office and John Sweet, managing director for Ziegler Healthcare Real Estate Funds and a volunteer-member of the fund raising committee for Fisher House Wisconsin.

Every September 11, beginning at 7:30 a.m. CST, The Milwaukee County Executives? Office holds a ceremony honoring those we lost. The ceremony will take place at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center and will include the presentation of the colors, prayers for those lost, and introductions of honored guests.
